A fabulous hand painted portrait of Simonetta Vespucci posed as Cleopatra based on the original painting by Piero Di Cosimo. She was a famous muse of his and featured in several iconic paintings. The piece is European and is from the early 1900s. It can be worn as a pin or pendant. The back is stamped 800 for silver and it has a small gold rope around the edge. It is 1.5 inches long. Slightly tarnished but overall in good condition.
