T-Bar 7/8" Quill Shim

The Twisted T-Bar and Mini Twisted T-Bar are made for clamping on a 1-1/8" threadless steerer - the most common size for modern bikes - but there are lots of great bikes out there with quill stems in 1" threaded steerers. We've had a lot of of requests for a T-Bar made for Quill stems, and this is our answer for the foreseeable future. These spacers are turned on a good ole manual lathe here, probably by Stephen. Made from 6061 aluminum with a lip to precisely match the shape of the T-Bar clamp.  You'll need to loosen your stem's wedge bolt and remove it from the steerer of your bike, typically using a 6mm hex key. Then, slide the spacer and T-Bar onto your stem from the bottom, and reinstall your stem. Be aware that some cantilever or center-pull rim brake bikes could have interference from the front brake cable. If your brake cable housing goes in to the top of your stem and the cable exits from the bottom, you won't be able to use the Twisted T-bar without switching to a crown or he
