The Ekuanot hop was developed by the Hop Breeding Company and first released in 2014 as HBC 366. Ekuanot is an aroma hop that is typically used in only late boil additions, including dry hopping. Ekuanot has fruity aromatics such as lemon, lime, pithy orange, tropical fruit, berry, papaya, and sometimes apple. Along with these there may be more herbal notes, such as sage and eucalyptus.
