The heart-shaped, pink flowers appear in late spring and bloom for several weeks. It is common to have a second bloom in the fall. The blue-green foliage is sharply dissected and remains semi-evergreen in mild winters. This plant will thrive in part shade with rich, moist soils, but can adapt to more or less sun successfully.
