The golf club recently had a multi-million dollar renovation, overseen by the original architect, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. This par- 72 course climbs slopes and careens down hills for a demanding layout that calls for golfers’ most accurate placement. Named for Prince Albert, son of Hawai’i’s King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma, golf at the Prince Course is truly a royal experience. The Prince Course continues to receive top marks and awards from Golf’s top publications. There are five sets of golf tees at each hole with several having nine different tee areas giving everyone a choice of how to play. All the greens plus practice areas have been rebuilt using Seashore Paspalum grass and Tee boxes have been renovated or are new on various holes. Bunkers have new fiber mesh liners, drainage and new buff colored sand to blend in better with the lush surroundings.
