Some people want all the horsepower they can get, and submersible pump owners are no different. The HSD2.55S brings 25% more horsepower to the table than the 1/2 horsepower HS2.4S submersible trash pump. What does this mean? For starters, you can move more liquid and you can move it further. The HSD2.55S also has an "extreme duty" agitator and more power to stir up thicker slurry and cut through heavier mud and sand. But let's face it, the HSD2.55S is just more pump...it's a "three quarter horse". A "half horse" is big, but a "three quarter horse" is bigger. It's just more of the horse. Can't argue with that.
