Porcelain Gaiwan

This gaiwan comes from a porcelain factory in Taiwan. We have used other gaiwans and tasting sets from the same factory and we loved all of them. What we enjoy about this gaiwan: First, it holds 160ml of liquid or roughly 5.5oz. So, it is perfect for solo drinking if you wanted to enjoy larger non-gong fu cups of tea or share with a friend. Second, it has a nice flared lip. This makes it easier to pour without burning your fingers. Lasty, this gaiwan is deep and has a nice wide body. This makes for a very versatile brewing device. The porcelain won't absorb any flavors and there's plenty of room for your the leaves to expand.
