Yong Chuan Xiu Ya

Yongchuan Xiu Ya is a green tea from Yongchuan, in Chongqing Province. Chongqing used to be part of Sichuan Province, so they share a lot of tea cultivars and production techniques. Xiu Ya translates to "Elegant Buds". The leaf pluck is a young bud with a larger leaf. The tips are slightly downy and the dry leaves look like needles. They look elegant like their name implies. Recommended brewing: 4g of tea; 130ml of water 75 degrees celcius1.5 minute first infusion
