Chinautla Terracotta Object
NICE CURVES By Meso Goods A sculptural study of repetition, imperfection, and technique This limited edition series is crafted entirely by hand—no machinery or tools are used in the process Look just as good filled with dried botanicals as they do standing empty as a decorative object (or a clustered group of objects, in our humble opinion) Made from raw, locally-sourced terracotta, sculpted by hand, sun-dried, and burned at low fire temperature in Chinautla, Guatemala Each piece is unique, with variations in size and color due to its handmade nature. Expect and celebrate the occasional pronounced dark spots resulting from the terracotta burning process. These are vessels rather than vases. Meaning, they're not water tight. But they sure are handsome.
