Most often we think of faeries being no bigger than the palm of our hand. There are indeed many different traditions that depict them as every size from average human to typical tree sprite. Some with wings, some without. Faeries often took human lovers and abducted them to the land of the Fae or sometimes a child, leaving a changeling in their place (they ar
