Thoughts on This and That by Robert H. Hoge
Robert H. Hoge was considered to be a Renaissance Man with his expertise as a painter, sculpture, engineer, scientist, and inventor. Later in life, he developed a skill as a writer publishing “Thoughts on This and That” to a small circle of friends and family. He would be considered a blogger if he was around in 2020. Sending out excerpts to his circle of “followers” about his daily or weekly thoughts about science, core values, poems, or intimate celebrations on life and death, he passed along inspiring bits of reflection to an intimate group. After years of compiling his pondering, his ancestors published a compilation of his works that he shared with his family to be perpetuated for future generations. It is now available to the public with proceeds to preserve the historic structures on Belle Hampton Farm.
