Spotted Mushroom Beret for Dolls

If an animal wearing this hat were to sit very still alongside a woodland trail and think mushroom-y thoughts, a passerby might just mistake them for a real amanita muscaria*. (Lucy Owl says that is the scholarly name for this kind of mushroom.) Knit from merino wool yarn in an earthy red color with scattered white spots. Has a nice slouchy fit, a wide rib knit brim, and thoughtful ear holes.
