Light Complex Bosphorus 14” ANTIQUE DARK Hihats 896 1116 g Papery Light SULTAN

Here’s  a pair of damn-near-impossible-to-find Hihats! They’re Antique FACTORY STAMPED “DARK” Hihats.   The only pair I have and the only pair I’ve seen in this size.   Hand Hammered Bopshorus Antique - Sultan Style 14” “Dark” Hihats in amazing condition!  These are simply stunning  - semi-dark and smooth with a slight hint of complexity - fairly light and airy with a broad spread.  Weighing in at a THIN 896 grams for the Top Cymbal and 1116 grams for the Bottom Cymbal, these Dark 14s” play like Hand Hammered fairly smooth and Semi-DARK THIN to Medium Thin Hihats with a blend of light smoothness and complexity. The concentric lathed and unlathed rings provide multiple surfaces for different tones. What's interesting about this particular pair of Sultans is that they are particularly LIGHT AND AIRY WITH A SMOOTHNESS. They are DARKER but still have a few shadows of brightness in there. Light and airy, even, smooth, medium darkness, with a bit of hand hammered complexity and dryness! VER
