Tänze aus Wien

This new release pulls from the plentiful collection of dances and waltzes by Franz Schubert. The music included in this album was not originally composed for a large audience, rather for a small circle of friends, bringing an intimate quality to the music. Viennese-born pianist Paul Badura-Skoda performs these dances beautifully, and has written the liner notes included in the album.
