Description: Dog-themed scrapbook containing photos of a Pennsylvania family's pet dog Lady, alone and with family members, as well as newspaper clippings of dog training articles. By an unknown compiler, dated 1928-1930, with captions in manuscript that mention locations in Pennsylvania (Scranton and White Rocks). 6 x 8 inches; 19 leaves (last four blank). Five black-and-white photographs (silver gelatin prints?) pasted to first three leaves, plus one photo secured with a metal fastener; most show Lady at the family farmhouse, one at White Rocks. 11 clippings of dog training articles by L.J. Brosemer, director of the Chappel Kennel Foundation, and one clipping of an article by Bruce Catton about General Howe's dog during the American Revolutionary War.
