Feng Shui Colored Golden Saraswati on Swan
Saraswati represents education and knowledge. She is holding the vina(stringed musical instrument) She hold symbols of wisdom. The beautiful bird-Hamsa (swan) is associated with the great Goddess Saraswati in Hindu tradition, as her mount, or Vahana, is a symbol of the virtues that the Devi bestows on her devotees. A Hamsa is legendarily known to have the ability to separate milk from water (neer-ksheer-viveka), representing the wisdom that can segregate between truth and untruth. This resin statue represents the powers of Devi Saraswati, who appears as Hamsavahini, enthroned on a lovely swan, whose form is marvelously depicted in this sculpture. Ma Saraswati is four-armed and is wrapped in a delicate saree, with a halo around her countenance, amplifying the glory of this aspect of the goddess.
