This very special Pau d Arco tea comes from the Pau d Arco tree in the Amazonian rainforest of Brazil. There's a reason the Pau d Arco tea bark of this special tree doesn't allow the growth of fungal organisms, it's entirely anti-fungal. Being the only tree in the rainforest that doesn't grow fungus, Pau d Arco tea bark is harvested from the inner bark of the Pau d Arco tree in a sustainable method that allows the annual regrowth of the Pau d Arco tea bark. There are several different uses and names of preparations of Pau d Arco tea ranging from "tajibo", a tea made by the Kallawaya tribal healers of Brazil to the Peruvian tea known as "tarota" to the tribal healers of the Ashaninka, Inca and Campas tribes. Pau d Arco tea is traditionally used as a tea by the Huastec Mayan natives of Mexico. The different benefits of Pau d Arco tea include anti-tumor, anti-candidas, anti-fungal and very recent claims of the content of oxygen in solution have created in interest in oxygen-therapy
