They’ve used state-of-the-art technology to develop an efficient ballast and a reflector that provides optimum uniformity—making it more efficient than HPS or MH. The CMH ballasts can be controlled independently or with the ILUMINAR Touch Controller or HASH Controller. The ballasts are also compatible with the Priva, Hortimax, and Argus controllers (0-10V Protocol) allowing you to fully monitor the dialing of particular requirements in your gardens. Ceramic Metal Halide or "CMH" lamps have a broader spectrum and more UV light compared to other increasing lights. If the desired result is a higher yield, the ILUMINAR CMH gives you a competitive advantage. Our CMH DE fixture reduces the expense of relamping while also reducing overhead costs. This CMH Ballast provides low-frequency, square wave technology to provide a steady maximum lamp voltage for an extended period of time, giving your plants more photons of light. CMH ballasts are designed for proper ignition and low-frequency operation, ensuring the safety of both you and your crop. WARNING: Just use a low-frequency ballast while operating a CMH lamp. Using a high-frequency ballast raises the likelihood that the lamp will blow and potentially cause damage.
