Flag Day Activities: Create a Flag Flip Up Booklet

Celebrate Flag Day with this fun activity pack. It includes a reading passage about the history of Flag Day and facts about the American Flag. Students will love creating their own red, white, and blue FLAG-themed flip up booklet. It includes the following activities: A reading passage that comes in color and BW Comprehension Questions Templates and directions to create a Flag-themed Flip Booklet Directions: 1. Fold a piece of 8.5 x 11 red paper in half so that it opens horizontally. 2. Evenly space out and then paste 6 white strips on the front of the booklet. *There should be 7 red strips in between the white strips. This will give you a total of 13 stripes in all. 3. Color the background behind the stars blue. 4. Cut out and paste the blue rectangle with the 50 stars on the top left corner of your flag booklet. 5.
