First painted in 2018 during a gallery event in Israel, it was born through an encounter with a blind soldier whose heavy stomps taught a lesson in trust: every step is unseen, every step is new. The artist closed his eyes, entered that perspective, and from it, the Shepherd’s vow emerged. The work was buried for years, forgotten, until 2025 when it was revived and re-layered with new depth. The Shepherd Path records the surrender of fixed identity — from “Roy / רועי” to HEāRTisT — carrying the vow to move in the world not by sight, but by trust in the unseen.
