This 2025 Laurel Canyon from Matchless has been upgraded with Reverb, as well as a striking Burgundy & Silver color scheme. The Laurel Canyon is Matchless’ first ever 6V6 amp influenced by the timeless music created by the legendary musicians who resided in Laurel Canyon in the 60s and 70s. For this amp, Matchless developed a more compact cabinet in consideration of the needs of the on the go musician desiring more portability. They tested several different cabinet sizes until finding the one that hit the sweet spot between portability and ability to showcase the tonal range of the Laurel Canyon to the fullest. Powered by one 5AR4 rectifier tube, 2 x 6V6s and driven by three 12AX7s. The combination creates an unbelievably robust sound, dialed in with the Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble, Reverb and Master Volume.‍The optional reverb is powered by two 12AX7/ECC83’s and drives through a 2 spring reverb tank.
