Taranis Travel Prayer Beads: Gaulish Celtic God of Thunder, Fertility and Protection
This set of Taranis travel prayer beads consists of a total of twelve beads. There are three sets of three beads on the loop, signifying the realms of earth, sea and sky, each set separated by a knotwork spacer bead. Joining the string is an additional bead and a pendant representing the god: a wheel. Taranis was often depicted in art holding such a wheel. This piece is meant to be carried on your travels; it is easily hung from the rear view mirror of a car and closes with a strong magnetic clasp. It can also be quickly fastened to and removed from a purse or backpack (inside the bag is safer!), a desk or nightstand lamp, a bedpost, or anywhere you want to keep it handy. The design is based on my pocket prayer beads and comes with the same prayer. The piece is made from 8mm bright red fire-polished Czech glass beads with an aurora finish separated by silver-toned metal spacer beads and glass seed beads to provide a comfortable transition from one bead to the next and to make the piece
