Originally invented sometime in the 16th century, Hobby Horses (or Stick Horses as they are sometimes called) are still great fun for children today. This cute little Black Hobby Horse is sure to entertain your child for hours on end as he or she gallops around, indoors and out. In addition to fun, it promotes your child's dexterity, balance, strength and imagination in a playful way. All our hobbyhorses are equipped with two handles on the horse's head and with two castors at their rod ends. This handmade in Germany of steamed beech wood, pure sheep's wool for the mane, cowhide for the ears and glass for the eyes.
