Wesley Eisold's Cigarette Magazine Issue 3 continues the series as a visual archive of subcultures that rarely shared space but always shared a spirit. It collects fragments from scenes that too often passed each other by: punks, goths, mods, hardcore kids, and others who lived on the edges. Every page is a kind of daydream. This issue brings them together in one imagined document. Cigarette explores the connections that never quite happened but feel like they could have. A parallel history told through manipulated, photocopied textures, altered flyers, faded fashion ads, mixtape inserts, and cut and paste longing.
