Strictly High Grown (SHG) coffee refers to beans cultivated at elevations of at least 1,200 meters above sea level. At these higher altitudes, coffee cherries ripen more slowly, allowing them to absorb additional nutrients. This slower maturation process produces denser beans with a naturally sweeter flavor, which are regarded as higher in quality. With tasting notes of dark chocolate, walnut, citrus, raisin, and stone fruit, this is one of our new favorites! This smooth single origin coffee from the Jinotega region in Nicaragua has medium acidity and heavy body for an excellent mouth feel. Cupping score: 84. Elevation: 4,200 feet Process: Washed Harvest: November - March
