These are meant to develop a natural tarnish and patina. The philosophy of Wabi-Sabi is very much embraced by the Heatherfish brand. Wabi-Sabi, in it's pure definition, is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. However, a pro-polish pad is included with should you wish to maintain the polished finish.
