Yellow Brass, Arkansas Quartz Torque Necklace

I received this lovely Arkansas quartz cluster from my contact in Mt. Ida Arkansas. Since I've long desired to make a torque necklace inspired by my Celtic heritage, I decided that this quartz cluster would be the one. However, in normal Heather fashion, I needed to make it different. While the structure of the necklace is torque, the goal for this piece was to infuse modern simplicity. This necklace took a total of 12 hours to make and several blisters...lol. Brass is notoriously difficult to weave with, but I just felt that this necklace needed to be made with gold-toned metal. It is sealed with a clear coat protectant to preserve the color and polish of the brass.Right now this necklace is exclusively listed here.
