Chisholm Park Sunset original painting

This original painting, measuring 12x36 inches, captures the serene beauty of Chisholm Park, located just 15 minutes away along the east side of East Lake Tohopekaliga (Toho for short). The park is beautifully shaded by ancient live oak trees, their branches reaching out in defiance of gravity and inviting the adventurous to climb. Spanish moss drapes gracefully, adding a touch of mystery to the scene.  We arrived about an hour before sunset, enjoying the interplay of light and shadows as they danced across the leaves and moss. A stroll along a horse path, the distant calls of Sandhill cranes echoing like prehistoric creatures, and a refreshing dip of our feet in the water (while keeping a vigilant eye for gators) made for a perfect ending to a winter day. This original acrylic painting is presented on a 1.5” gallery-wrapped canvas, where the artwork extends seamlessly onto the edges. The canvas has been varnished to ensure protection and longevity.
