This original acrylic painting measures 48x30 inches and features vibrant colors in a painterly, impressionistic style. It captures the breathtaking beauty of Scotland’s mountains in spring, with blooming heather creating a scene that evokes a sense of joy and wonder, much like Julie Andrews twirling in her iconic moment. The landscape depicted is near West Linton, just southwest of Edinburgh. I’ve wanted to paint a scene featuring the flower I’m named after for awhile and couldn't resist this scene. This original acrylic painting is presented on a 1.5” gallery-wrapped canvas, where the artwork extends seamlessly onto the edges. The canvas has been varnished to ensure protection and longevity. May use a dry or clean damp rag to dust. It comes equipped with a wire on the back, making it convenient and effortless to hang immediately.
