Un-Broken Angel

"What was Once Broken, is Now Beautiful” This piece, Un-Broken Angel, holds a personal lifelong journey full of toxicity, dysfunction, heartache, and -at times, had left me absolutely -bottom of the abyss, devastatingly grief-stricken. This piece now serves a dual purpose. A reminder of how far I've personally come and to give hope to anyone who has ever gone through something so traumatic or heartbreaking, that they never thought they could dig their way out and be made whole. *Personally, I can't say, "be made whole again" as my trauma stems from childhood. I do not feel I was ever whole, to begin with, as it took me 38 years to work through the past and do what was best for me and my family's future. I do not regret the decisions made, as they were not made lightly, and am extremely proud of myself for finally listening to my heart.
