The Ethereal Orbit Hoops - OOAK

"A circle completed by light." I designed these hoops to play with the concept of "perceived weight." In this piece, the traditional hoop is reimagined as an orbital journey—where hand-wrought sterling  silver (or Brass) meets a curated arc of faceted gemstones to complete the circle. I am drawn to the idea of "implied form", so I made the hoop to be part metal and part stone. The silhouette feels like it’s floating. The faceted gemstones are meticulously threaded and secured to bridge the gap in the wire, catching the light from every angle. The result is a hoop that feels airy and ethereal, yet maintains the structural integrity and "grounded" weight that defines my work. A hybrid hoop design, hand-fabricated in Sterling Silver / Brass.
