The Rolled Copper Hoops - OOAK

"Raw texture, refined geometry." I created these open hoops to explore the balance between industrial materials and organic form. By taking a simple twist of copper wire and rolling it flat, I’ve transformed the metal into a textured ribbon that catches the light with every movement. As a designer, I am fascinated by how we can change the "voice" of a material. In these earrings, the warmth of the copper is grounded by the structural strength of the flat-rolled twist. The result is a lightweight, open-hoop silhouette that feels modern and minimalist, yet carries the soul of a hand-fabricated object. The Body: Pure copper wire, hand-twisted and rolled flat for a signature tactile finish. The Hardware: Sterling silver posts and butterfly nuts (suitable for sensitive ears). The Silhouette: An "Open Hoop" design that offers the look of a full circle with the ease of a stud.
