Learn Of Me

“Learn of Me” was inspired by Matthew 11: 29-30.  One morning as I was studying this passage of scripture, I began to wonder if there were any paintings that represented our Saviors words of direction, promise and comfort. A google search produced very few images and none that really inspired me. I began pondering on how one might paint a representation of these scriptures in a way that would offer the viewer a sense of hope and relief. After some prayer, this is the image that came to my mind. I sincerely hope that this painting will serve as a daily reminder to do whatever is needed to take his yoke upon you, enabling him to help and be with you always.
