The artist’s grandfather’s chihuahua Petra, was the inspiration for this portrayal of a Mechanical Chihuahua. Little Petra was a friendly, cuddly dog, at least until she was on Grandpa’s lap in his wheelchair, then she turned into the fierce defensive robot, similar to the drawing you see.
