The DECON/Pak Portable Decontamination System is a self-contained agent proportioning and rinse application system developed specifically for gross decontamination of firefighting personnel and equipment. Studies show that field decon using soap, water and a brush reduce cancer causing contamination on turnout gear by 85%. Simple operation, add cleaning agent, connect to a hoseline, wash, scrub and rinse. Flow is controlled by a twist grip valve that also functions as a carrying handle. Agent proportioning ranges from 0.1 to .5% for cleaning agent or set to rinse with water only.
