Come explore the beauty of a variety of different types of flourishes as we analyze, dissect and execute them on ascenders, descenders and capitals as well as creating compound flourishes. You will form them free and contemporary, controlled and refined. Learn to add decorative elements to your flourishes along with the tasteful placement of a flourish within the art. After careful practice, try your hand at completing a finished circular design, weaving flourishes together. (Italic troubleshooting session will be a part of this workshop in Day 1).
