Antique American Hooked Rug - 2’6 x 4’1
This rug was hand-hooked in the Northeastern United States during the turn of the 20th century. This simple yet striking rug features a striped center of soft purple, turquoise, caramel, and coffee. The center is surrounded by a series of concentric polygons in perfectly patinated tones of red, blue, and purple and finished red squares at each corner. For the floor in a low traffic area or would be sensational on a wall. In very good condition for its significant age. The binding has been replaced and the rug has been backed for extra structure and to prolong its longevity for the next generation. Flat pile, with a soft handle.
