Antique Kerman Termeh - 3'5 x 4'

This Termeh was embroidered in Kerman during the 19th century. It features a concentric starlike medallion on a rich red ground. Nicely framed but a border of alternating fan-like motifs. These pieces were often used on a tabletop or hung on the wall.
