Bakhtiari Bag Face - 1’2 x 1'8

This bagface was handwoven by the Lori people during the early 20th century. It is woven in soumak weave and features a lattice of polychrome polygons filled with eight-pointed stars. The color palette is red, blue, yellows, brown, and green with bright whites woven in cotton.
