Vintage Karaja Rug - 3'3 x 4'1

This Karaja rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.  It features a geometric triple medallion design characteristic of the type in jewel-toned blues and greens on a rich red field. The rich red field is embellished with bright, eye-catching blues. It is framed by a navy main border flanked by a crisp ivory outer border and turquoise inner border. In very good condition, with some loss to the end borders but all four sides have been reinforced for longevity.
