Mid Century Tajik Suzani - 2'10 x 3'8

This Suzani was handmade in Tajikistan during the third quarter of the 20th century (1950-1975). It features a circular central medallion with two-tone purple rosettes in the center and on each side. Curled white leaves that are reminiscent of a floating feather can be found in each corner. Beautiful accent tones of gold and emerald add extra interest and really pop with the other tones against the black field. In excellent condition, wear consistent with age.
