In my house, we use these instead of a dinner plate. Perfect for pasta, salad, rice bowl, or anything else you want a hearty serving of. Made from a warm and toasty tan stoneware. This is a smooth clay with no grog (sandy particles). A lovely handfeel! These bowls are glazed on the inside only, with a marbled swirl on the inside. The bottom and lip are unglazed, raw clay. 8" x 2".
