Disassembled the boom is only 29.75" in length. The boom weighs only 3 pounds and comes with a pivot clamp and a 9.5 pound (5.3 kg) counterweight. At the end of the boom you are able to mount the included double-ended 5/8" stud on the end or at a 90-degree angle to the side.
