Acid Mt. Fuji [Import]
KEY FEATURES 30th Anniversary Edition 3xLP pressed on Black Vinyl Remastered Originally released in 1994 RELEASE DESCRIPTION Susumu Yokota's 1994 masterpiece “Acid Mt. Fuji” is now being reissued as a deluxe 3-LP set in celebration of the original label's 30th anniversary. Japan’s music scene, particularly its techno label Sublime, released this album on June 29, 1994, alongside Ken Ishii's “Reference To Difference.” “Acid Mt. Fuji” blends mystical ambient acid and futuristic minimal techno, inviting listeners on a psychedelic pilgrimage with reverb echoes, forest recordings, 303 synths, and electronic percussion. This album, a unique blend of early '90s Western styles and the essence of Yokota's native Japan, merges Japanese new age and sparse electronic music, resulting in a free, organic, and energetic recording. Initially planning an ambient record, Yokota evolved 'Acid Mt. Fuji' into a concept work featuring the Roland TB-303, recorded live at his home with a sampler. Inspired b
