Alfons Maria Mucha (1860-1939)   Alphonse Mucha was a Czech painter and decorative artist. He is the most popular artist of the Art Nouveau movement. Mucha’s works are well-known for their dignified and elegant female characters with beautiful and charming body lines. He created a lot of paintings, posters, advertisements and illustrations for books. He also engaged in designs of jewelry, theater decorations.
