Installation: We highly recommend you consult a skilled luthier to install a tailpiece on your violin, viola, or cello! When installing a tailpiece, your soundpost can fall when removing strings, requiring a highly skilled process with years of training to ensure proper refit for the instrument. In addition there are important steps for a proper fit, tailgut considerations, and string length behind the bridge. Please consult your luthier before purchasing to ensure the proper size is ordered!
