Produced in small batches for limited release. A Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume model tailpiece resembling the tailpiece adorned upon the 1716 "Messiah-Salabue" Violin by Antonio Stradivari. Installation: We highly recommend you consult a skilled luthier to install a tailpiece on your violin, viola, or cello! When installing a tailpiece, your soundpost can fall when removing strings, requiring a highly skilled process with years of training to ensure proper refit for the instrument. In addition there are important steps for a proper fit, tailgut considerations, and string length behind the bridge. Please consult your luthier before purchasing to ensure the proper size is ordered! Please allow up to four weeks lead time for all new orders.
