Vouette & Sorbee, Blanc d’Argile Brut Nature (NV)

100% Chardonnay, base 2019 Champagne Vouette & Sorbee is the creation of husband and wife Bertrand & Helene Gautherot. The Domaine is situated in Buxieres-Sur-Arce in the Cote des Bar. Five hectares of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc planted on Kimmeridgian slopes and a small part on Portlandian called Sorbee. The Champagne is made in an artisanal and natural way since the first release in 2001 of Fidèle. Fidèle is a reminder to remain simple and natural in the cellar: 100% pinot noir, one harvest, only wild yeast, no chaptalization, 100% vinification in oak, 100% natural malo, no dosage. This minimalist approach in the winemaking is the same with Saignee de Sorbée (2003) and Blanc d’Argile (2004).
