Comfrey Salve, 2 oz

Our salves come in an amber glass jar to protect their botanical contents. Comfrey is known as the knit-bone herb, because traditionally it has been used to speed recovery from broken bones, sprains, strains, bruised muscles and joints. It has also been used to ease back pain, as an aid in relieving issues with osteoarthritis as well as for its ability in soothing the discomfort that accompanies rashes, eczema, psoriasis and minor burns.  This salve is made with the Comfrey from our garden. A powder is made from the dried leaves that is then mixed into a base of organic extra virgin olive oil and 100% pure beeswax. Our salves follow the Greek home remedy tradition of the olive oil-beeswax salve that the lady of the house used to make and keep handy in the home as an all-purpose healing salve.
