Our silver needle white tea from Meghalaya is so sublime, an absolute treasure and is definitely for those who enjoy the finer things in life. The tea is delicate, has a rich mouthfeel with complex floral, herbaceous, honey and buttery notes. Crafted at a boutique tea garden situated on the Umiam lake in the Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, our Limited Edition Silver Needle is extremely rare and unique. It is composed of the most tender and youngest tea buds. While other teas go through an oxidation process this tea is very natural. The tender buds are hand plucked and then withered and sundried at the same time. A very small lot of silver needle tea is made every year in the winter and sometimes early spring, making this a very special, micro ghani batch.
